I began to play seriously Schwyzerörgeli in 1993. I learned alone and improved by hearing old 33T and 45T from Josias Jenny.
At the same time, I learned electric guitar and joined a rock band. In 1996, I entered in the Conservatoire de Lausanne for singing (Conter-tenor). We recorded a CD with my father (clarinette) just one year after buying my Jos. Nussbaumer from 1926.
In 2004, I learned banjo for a Jazz project and began to play double-bass in folk music.
In 2008, I recorded a live CD with Andreas Baumann and Luciano Stampa (Kasi Geisser-Live)
Except playing with my father, I have no really official band because of the distance.
I'm free and I like to play with a lot of various players.
My influences are: Josias Jenny, Kasi Geisser, Karli Oswald, Franz Feierabend, Thomas Marthaler, Astor Piazzolla, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Yes, King Crimson, Frank Zappa, Ryuchi Sakamoto, Django Reinhardt, Genesis, Peter Gabriel, The Beach Boys, Led Zeppelin, Brahms, Beethoven, Schostakovich, Bach, Händel, Queen, Chieftains, folk music from Bulgaria,...
